Starting today, I am moving my blog to a new platform. Livejournal has served me well so I will still keep this as a back up for my old blogs (though I have transferred all my files to the new server now).

So for the latest updates, I am now blogging at :

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?

Kaloka, Kaloka, where have you been?
I've been to the palace to visit the King.
Kaloka, Kaloka, what did you do there?
I frightened a little cat under the chair.

I am absent in blogosphere for the last 3 days...and I am still sleepy till now.
I hope everything will work out just fine because I am really tired.

PS.
I do not know where's the cat.

Cheer!

THE BAD WORD OR THE BAD NAME?

Last night I was watching the prime time news program TV Patrol on TFC. Raymart Santiago was on air being interviewed about the recent "Celebrity Death Match " that he and wife Claudine Barretto had with journalist Mon Tulfo. Raymart said that his wife Claudine did not swear at (nagmura) the Cebu Pacific flight stewardess.

Hmmm. No comment on Claudine's cussing. But the hell-like experience I had with Cebu Pacific made me say WTF (complete words with exclamation point!) to the ground staff of Cebu Pacific. So I totally understand her. Though I hope she said the WTF than the words she utter on the video (mas sossy lang, haha!).

Now, the mother of the flight stewardess is demanding a public apology from Claudine. Do you think its really necessary or right? What is necessary is that Cebu Pacific, the root of all evil should apologize to the People of the Philippines. Period. No questions asked.

PS.
I googled and found out what the name "Claudine" means:
- A very sexual person. Party animal and spends money to buy clothes.

- An agressive, a bitch who doesn't know what she wants and often has mental/emotional breakdowns and drains everyone with her paranoia issues yet we can't help but still love her.

THE CHIC MOM'S UNIFORM

Once upon a time, I was crazy about maxi dresses. I want to have them in different prints, color, etc. One day, I saw a flower printed piece at H&M in New Castle for only £ 10. I rushed to Rolex and ask, "Hon, look its so pretty and its on sale". He replied, "Ngano ganahan man ka sige ug palit ana na mura man na ug duster?"(Why do you keep on buying when it looks like a duster). I was shocked! Precisely because I often associate the duster (dress) with old women (read: losyang or matrona). After analyzing it, I have thought that maybe the maxi dress evolved from the duster. First they are both comfy and light. On the other hand, the duster is something you can wear strictly at home while the maxi dress is all around. Though it looks roomy, it still has an appeal that is quite flattering to the body.

See this gray version here from Geren Ford.

Checkout this Tibi light pink maxi dress in floral print, so pretty.

See here the basic black maxi from Wallis.

I still love the maxi dress and love it even more because of Angeline Jolie. And I still believe that though Rolex has a point, I don't really trust his taste when it comes to fashion.

Happy Mother's Day! Stay chic and fabulous! ...and remember not to wear the duster outside the home. Better switch to the maxi dress, a safer and fashionable choice.

Cheers!

A MOMENT TO REMEMBER (ERASER IN MY HEAD)

I am not sure if I am the last person in the world to see this movie but last night, I can't stop crying...from the middle part of the movie till the end. I was literally catching my breath that Rolex had to get water and at the same time can't seem to stop laughing at me.

"A Moment to Remember (내 머리 속의 지우개 literally Eraser in My Head) is a 2004 South Korean film based on a 2001 Japanese television drama Pure Soul broadcast byYomiuri Telecasting Corporation. It stars Son Ye-jin and Jung Woo-sungA Moment to Remember follows the theme of discovery in a relationship and the burdens of loss caused by Alzheimer's disease. The movie was officially released on November 5, 2004 in South Korea." -wiki

I have seen a dozen of movies that tackles amnesia or alzheimer but "A Moment to Remember" seemed like the perfect drama version of "50 First Dates" which is a comedy. It could have been cheesy if not in the way the director builds up the plot and how the characters have actually evolved in the movie. And oh, I should not forget to mention that Jung Woo-sung is absolute-gorgeousness-in-the-flesh specially when he started to professionally practice architecture in a suit! Even when he was still a mere foreman in the construction site, he was still ruggedly handsome.

If you have not seen this Korean movie, I highly recommend you do.

PS.
Rolex watched it twice! (now I am laughing at him)

Cheers!
